Single check valve couplings
Widely used for connecting portable air tools and equipment to the compressed air lines. But these days they are used on many other applications too. TechniFlex couplings are built to withstand operating pressure over 400 PSI, but while fluids such as water, oil and grease are being used, this pressure may further exceeded safely. The coupler body should be installed on the upstream (Supply) end of the line to shut off the fluid supply, when coupling is disconnected. The Adaptor has no valving in this model and upon disconnection, exhaust, upon downstream media.
Double check valve coupling
TechniFlex double check valve couplings are crafted for connecting hydraulic lines. TechniFlex couplings are also highly preferred where a variety of other fluids are involved. TechniFlex DC-QRC are made to withstand pressure ranging from 800 to 10000 PSI depending upon size and material. TechniFlex DC-QRC contains auto shut-off valves at both ends; i.e. the coupler and the adaptor to prevent loss of fluid/media while disconnection.
Straight Through Coupling
TechniFlex Straight-thru couplings are designed without any valves to provide the least resistance to fluid flow. But due to their unique ability to aid maximum flow, they require a manual check valves in both lines if one intends to prevent fluid loss when the couplings are disconnected. TechniFlex Straight-thru couplings provide the fastest & simplest connection to any system. The Coupler bodies of this series are manufactured in brass, steel or stainless steel. TechniFlex Straight-thru couplings are available in wide range of sizes from 1/8″ to 2″ which allows employment in fields ranging from instrumentation to steel mills.
Mould Coupling
TechniFlex Mould Type Couplings are widely used in plastic injection moulding process where it’s necessary to maintain the mould temperature. Keeping a check on temperature ultimately increases the production cycle. TechniFlex Mould couplings are used for connecting coolant lines and injection mould. TechniFlex Mould couplings are a part of straight through type which has no valve set-up to obtain the maximum flow of coolant.
